To make this healthy Rasam, blend betel leaves along with cumin, pepper, dried red chillies, curry leaves, green chillies, and garlic cloves to make a coarse paste powder. Now, add tomatoes to it and blend to make fine puree. Next, in a wok or kadhai, make a tempering of ghee, fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds, asafoetida, and curry leaves.
